I'm Dax Hamilton—a laser-plastic-welding specialist who has spent the past 15 years turning ambitious concepts into production-ready realities. In that time I've advised thousands of engineers and program managers, guiding hundreds of projects to the factory floor and generating more than $50 million in finished production solutions.

My career spans semiconductor manufacturing, a stint running my own machine shop, and leadership roles on sales and applications teams at multiple laser-welding OEMs—including the application lab and equipment business I founded myself. That 360° experience lets me serve as an unbiased guide in an industry where customers are often left to decipher vendor-specific capabilities and sales pitches on their own.

Today I operate as an independent consultant out of a fully equipped lab that matches—and frequently surpasses—the toolsets of most machine builders:
